Abstract:
Objective To explore the effect of sutureless technology in the tension-free hernia repair.
Method A total of 232 patients with inguinal hernia who underwent surgical treatment in Qinhuangdao Changli County People's Hospital was selected. They were randomly divided into observation group and traditional group, and 116 cases in each group of. All patients underwent tension-free hernioplasty. Sutureless technology was used in observation group, and the traditional group applied with the traditional practice of silk suture fixation. The clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared.
Results The operation time, postoperative hospital stay, postoperative complications and postoperative pain were significantly lower in the observation group than those in the conventional group. The differences between groups were statistically significant (P<0.05).
Conclusion The application of sutureless technology in tension-free hernia repair can achieve satisfactory clinical efficacy, it is worthy of clinical application.
