Abstract:
Objective To analyse the application of fast track concept in postoperative recovering of patients with laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair.
Methods 102 cases of inguinal hernia patients undergoing laparoscopic repair were selected and randomly divided into the control group (n=51) and the study group (n=51). The control group was given postoperative routine nursing care, while the study group was given the postoperative fast track concept nursing care. The recovery time of gastrointestinal function, the constant time of pain, and pain degree of two groups were observed postoperatively. The rate of satisfaction to the nursing care was counted when the patients discharged.
Results The time of bowel sound recovering, first flatus, first food intake, and constant pain in the study group were shorter than those in the control group (P<0.01). The visual analogue scale (VAS) score of the study group was lower than that in the control group significantly (P<0.01). The rate of satisfaction to the nursing care in the study group (88.24%) was significantly higher than that in the control group (72.55%) (P<0.05).
Conclusion Application of fast track concept in postoperative recovering patients with laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair can promote the recovery of postoperative gastrointestinal function of patients, reduce the degree of pain, promote the postoperative recovery, and improve the rate of satisfaction to the nursing care. The effect is better than routine nursing care.
