Abstract:

Objective

To study the intervention effect of double link collaborative nursing mode on elderly inguinal hernia after surgery.

Methods

A total of 90 senior patients with inguinal hernia who were hospitalized to Wannan Medical College's Yijishan Hospital between January 2019 and January 2020 were chosen as research participants and separated into two groups, each with 45 patients, based on different nursing practices. Routine nursing mode was used in the control group, while two-link collaborative nursing mode was used in the observation group. The clinical efficacy of the two groups of patients was compared, the recovery of gastrointestinal function of the two groups of patients was recorded, the adverse psychological state of the two groups of patients was analyzed before and after nursing intervention, nursing satisfaction of the two groups of patients was investigated, and the incidence of complications was recorded.

Results

After intervention, the recovery time of bowel sounds, first exhaust time, first defecation time, first feeding time, anxiety and depression scores in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The total effective rate of observation group (95.56%) was significantly higher than that of control group (77.78%), the total nursing satisfaction rate (97.78%) was significantly higher than that of control group (80.00%) (P<0.05). The total incidence of complications in the observation group (6.67%) was slightly lower than that in the control group (11.11%) (P>0.05).

Conclusion

The double-link collaborative nursing model can obviously improve the gastrointestinal function of elderly patients after hernia surgery, mobilize the enthusiasm of patients, improve nursing satisfaction, and can be popularized in clinical application.
