Abstract:
Objective To investigate the application of surgical nursing pathway in perioperative period of laparoscopic transabdominal preperitoneal hernia repair (TAPP).
Methods From March 2016 to August 2017, 51 patients underwent TAPP at the ChuiYangLiu Hospital Affiliated to Tsinghua University were retrospectively analyzed. The surgical measures and clinical effects of perioperative nursing pathway were summarized.
Results The mean operating time of unilateral surgery was (97±28)min. The catheter was removed at 8 h after operation. The duration of hospital stay was 3-5 days with an average of (3.3±0.6)d. A case of postoperative scrotal seroma occurred, and there was no scrotal hematoma, urinary retention, chronic pain and other complications.
Conclusion The surgical nursing pathways should be applied in the perioperative period of TAPP operation, which can be successfully cooperated with the operation. The communication between doctor-nurse and nurse-patient has become a virtuous circle, which enhances the understanding of the operation and ensures smooth operation and successful rehabilitation of the patients.
