Abstract:

Objective

To explore the application effect of predictive nursing and the concept of rapid rehabilitation nursing(referred to as combined nursing) in laparoscopic hiatal hernia repair.

Methods

Ninety patients admitted to the Emergency Department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of the Air Force Medical University of the People's Liberation Army of China from January 2019 to January 2021 for laparoscopic esophageal hiatal hernia repair were selected and randomly divided into a predictive care group, a fast recovery nursing concept group, and a combined group (with 30 patients in each group). All patients received routine care. The predictive nursing group was given a predictive nursing model on the basis of routine nursing. The fast recovery nursing concept group was given the fast track nursing concept nursing model on the basis of routine nursing. The combined group was given the nursing model of predictive nursing combined with fast recovery nursing concept group on the basis of routine nursing. The hospital stay, anal exhaust time, pain duration, gastric tube removal time, self-rating depression scale (SDS) and self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) scores before and after nursing, as well as the incidence of postoperative complications and satisfaction were compared between the two groups.

Results

The postoperative hospital stay, anal exhaust time, pain duration, gastric tube removal time, SDS score and SAS score, and recurrence rate of complications in the combined group were significantly lower than those in the predictive nursing group or fast recovery nursing concept group, and the differences were statistically significant (P all <0.05); The nursing satisfaction rate of combined group was significantly higher than that of predictive nursing group or fast recovery nursing concept group, and the difference reached a significant level (P<0.05).

Conclusion

The nursing model of predictive nursing combined with the fast recovery nursing concept group can effectively shorten the hospital stay of patients undergoing laparoscopic hiatal hernia repair, reduce the recurrence rate of complications and improve patients' satisfaction, which is beneficial to patients' postoperative rehabilitation, and its effect is better than that of the two alone.
