Application of stirrup posture frame in patients undergoing laparoscopic hiatal hernia repair

Abstract:

Objective

To explore the application effect of the stirrup posture frame in laparoscopic hiatal hernia repair.

Methods

The clinical data of 120 patients who underwent laparoscopic hiatal hernia repair in the Operating Room of Beijing Chaoyang Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University from January 2022 to January 2023 were retrospectively analyzed. The patients were divided into the observation group and the control group according to their body positions.

Results

The satisfaction of the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group (8.74±1.09 vs 7.21±1.27, P<0.05). The incidence of abnormal sensation in the lower limbs in the observation group was 3.3% (2/60) and 1.6% (1/60) at 24 and 48 hours after operation, which was significantly lower than 11.6% (7/60) and 6.6% (4/60) in the control group (P<0.05).

Conclusion

Stirrup posture frames can effectively reduce the incidence of lower limb abnormalities, improve the satisfaction of surgical cooperation, and have a significant effect on patients undergoing laparoscopic hiatal hernia repair.
