Abstract:

Objective

To explore the effect of the quality control circle (QCC) in the standardized management of laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair instruments in daytime operation mode.

Methods

176 cases of laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair in day surgery mode in June-December 2021 (before the activity) were selected as the control group; 194 cases of laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair in day surgery mode in January-June 2022 (after the activity) were selected as the observation group. The control group managed the device table using the conventional method. Observation of vertical tube circle activity group, establish "reduce the incidence of laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair surgery platform management" as the theme, using the PDCA cycle method, grasp the status quo, the control of the platform management behavior and causes, formulate improvement measures, and organize the implementation.

Results

The incidence of irregular device management behavior in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). The surgical table preparation time (starting with cleaning, disinfecting, and laying napkins) was shorter in the observation group than in the control group (P<0.05).

Conclusion

The development of quality tube ring activities can significantly reduce the incidence of irregular behavior in the management of laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair in day surgery mode, which is conducive to improving the efficiency of instrument management and the degree of intraoperative medical cooperation.
