Abstract:

Objective

To study the effect of ropivacaine caudal block on laparoscopic high ligation of hernia sac in children.

Methods

The research subjects selected 60 children who underwent laparoscopic high ligation of indirect inguinal hernia in our hospital from May 2020 to November 2020, and were divided into the control group (n=30) and the observation group (n=30) according to the random number table method. The control group was given intravenous inhalation combined with general anesthesia, and the observation group was given intravenous inhalation combined with general anesthesia combined with ropivacaine caudal block. The postoperative pain scores, sedation scores, resuscitation quality, and anesthesia were observed and compared between the two groups. Induction drug dosage, complication rate. The postoperative pain score, sedation score, resuscitation quality, intraoperative anesthetic dosage, and complication rate were observed and compared between the two groups.

Results

At 2, 6, and 24 hours after operation, the FLACC score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). The time of removing the laryngeal mask, the time to leave the recovery room, and the dosage of propofol and sufentanil for the control group (P<0.05); the total complication rate (6.66%) in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (26.67%), and the differences were all significant (P<0.05).

Conclusion

Ropivacaine caudal block has a good effect on resuscitation in laparoscopic high ligation of hernia sac in children. It reduces the need for general anesthesia, makes children feel less pain, and lowers the risk of complications.
