Abstract:

Objective

To evaluate the analgesic effect of remifentanil combined with propofol in laparoscopic operation of children with indirect inguinal hernia.

Methods

100 children who underwent laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair in Handan Central Hospital from June 2019 to January 2021 were included. The patients were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was given fentanyl combined with propofol anesthesia, and the observation group was given remifentanil combined with propofol anesthesia. The visual analogue scale score, heart rate, blood pressure, anesthesia time, awake time and extubation time of the two groups were analyzed and compared.

Results

At 1 and 6 hours after operation, the visual analogue scale score (4.33±1.56) and (3.21±1.61) points of the control group were significantly higher than those of the observation group (3.02±1.35) and (2.08±1.05) points, and the differences were statistically significant (all P<0.05). The blood pressure and heart rate of the children in the control group were higher than those in the observation group at the end of the anesthesia induction, 10 min and 20 min operation (all P<0.05). The awake time and extubation time (9.14±2.31) and (8.15±1.88) minutes in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group (18.55±3.58) and (15.56±2.15) minutes, and the difference was statistically significant (all P<0.05).

Conclusion

Remifentanil combined with propofol anesthesia in laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair is significantly better than that in the control group, and the circulation is more stable. It has the advantages and safety of quick onset, simple operation and short recovery time.
