Diagnostic value of color doppler ultrasonography in pelvic floor hernia

Objective

Discuss the clinical value of color doppler ultrasonography in the diagnosis of pelvic floor hernia.

Methods

Retrospectively analyze the color doppler sonographic findings and clinical data of pelvic floor hernia in Beijing Chaoyang hospital from April 2013 to November 2018.

Results

All 13 cases underwent surgery, and 11 cases were confirmed by ultrasonography, among them there were 7 cases of perineal hernia, 1 case of perineal hernia with perineal hemangioma, 2 cases of perineal hernia with invasive angiomyxoma, 1 case of obturator hernia; 2 cases were misdiagnosed by ultrasonography, both were perineal hemangioma.

Conclusion

There are important clinical value of color doppler ultrasonogaphy in the diagnosis of pelvic floor hernia.
