Abstract:

The morphological features of hiatal hernia have recently received extensive attention from scholars at home and abroad. Morphological changes in esophageal hiatus have led to the occurrence of hiatal hernia (HH). The use of multidetector computed tomography and multiplanar reconstruction technique to measure the area of esophageal hiatus in vivo, allows us to visually understand the morphological changes of esophageal hiatus, and can further understand the occurrence of hiatal hernia and the relationship between hiatal hernia and gastroesophageal reflux disease.

Key words: Hiatal Hernia, Esophageal Hiatus, Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease, Multidetector Computed Tomography, Multiplanar Reconstruction, Hiatal Surface Area
