Abstract:

Objective

To explore the application effect of high-quality and fine nursing management in the repair of inguinal hernia in children.

Methods

100 children who planned to undergo high ligation of indirect inguinal hernia sac in Affiliated Hospital of Southwest Medical University from January 2020 to January 2021 were randomly divided into control group (group A) and study group (group B), with 50 cases in each group. The control group was given perioperative routine nursing intervention combined with fine management, and the study group was given high-quality operating room nursing on the basis of the control group. The hospitalization time, anesthesia awake time, complication rate, indicators of operation efficiency, satisfaction of family members and medical staff of the two groups before and after the intervention were compared to further analyze and evaluate the nursing effect.

Results

The anesthesia awake time, hospital stay and operation transfer time in group B were better than those in group A (P<0.05). After entering the operating room, the degree of anxiety of children in group B was significantly lower than that in group A (P<0.05), and the satisfaction of family members of children in group B was significantly higher than that in group A (P<0.05).

Conclusion

The application of high-quality nursing combined with fine management in operating room nursing has a good effect on children undergoing high ligation of indirect inguinal hernia sac, which can significantly shorten the operation transfer time and hospital stay, reduce the anxiety of children during operation handover and induction of anesthesia, and improve the satisfaction of children's family members.
