Abstract:

Objective

To investigate the diagnostic value of MSCT combined with serum CRP in patients with incarceratedinguinal hernia.

Methods

from February 2017 to February 2021, 65 patients with incarceratedinguinal hernia confirmed by surgery in our hospital were selected as the research object. The results of scanning images of patients with inguinal hernia were demonstrated by multi-slice spiral CT, and the imaging characteristics of inguinal hernia were summarized according to clinical and imaging data, so as to determine the type, location and morphological manifestations of inguinal hernia. Based on the imaging results of inguinal patients by multi-slice spiral CT scanning, 30 cases of non-inguinal patients and 65 cases of inguinal patients were selected to compare the serum CRP level of the two groups of patients, and analyze the diagnostic value of serum CRP level in patients with inguinal hernia.

Results

The CT findings of patients with incarcerated inguinal hernia showed definite hernia sac shadow, with annular intestinal wall visible inside, partial uneven density, mixed density shadow around, partial annular thickening or abnormal high density shadow of intestinal wall, and localized mesenteric effusion or edema, which was not observed in ordinary inguinal hernia patients. The serum CRP concentration of incarcerated inguinal hernia patients was significantly higher than that of common inguinal hernia patients, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The anatomical structure of groin in coronal position was significantly higher than that in sagittal position (P<0.05). The proportion of combined diagnosis was significantly higher than that of single detection, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).

Conclusion

MSCT combined with serum CRP has high diagnostic value in patients with incarceratedinguinal hernia, which can be used as a reliable reference and worthy of clinical promotion.
