Abstract:

Objective

To observe the short-term effect of high ligation of small incision hernia sac in the treatment of indirect inguinal hernia in children and its effect on the level of C-reactive protein.

Methods

From May 2017 to May 2018, the clinical data of 80 children with inguinal hernia in Qinhuangdao Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital were randomly divided into experimental group and control group, with 40 patients in each group. The experimental group was treated with small incision intradermal suture, and the control group was treated with laparoscopic high ligation of hernia sac. The time of operation, the amount of bleeding, the time of wound healing and the presence of infection were observed and recorded in the two groups.

Results

The operation time of the experimental group was shorter than that of the control group, the bleeding volume and wound healing time of the experimental group were shorter than those of the control group, the incidence of complications and the number of relapses of the experimental group were less than those of the control group, and the level of C-reactive protein in the experimental group was lower than that of the control group at 8 hours, 24 hours and 48 hours after the operation, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).

Conclusion

Small incision intradermal suture has the advantages of short operation time, small incision, fast healing and less postoperative complications. It is safe and feasible and worth clinical application.
