Abstract:
Objective To analyze the application effect of fast-track surgery in perioperative period of tension-free hernia repair, so as to improve the satisfaction degree of patients undergoing tension- free hernioplasty.
Methods 100 cases of patients received elective hernia repair surgery in Wuhan Central Hospital from January 2015 to December 2015 were selected, and they were randomly divided into observation group and control group (n=50 cases in each group). The control group were given conventional perioperative management, while the observation group were given fast-track surgical nursing model. The differences of incidence of complications, satisfactions, quality of life, length of stay and other aspects between the two groups were compared.
Results The complication rates of the observation group and control group were 8.0% and 16.0%, the satisfaction were 92.0% and 80.0%, the quality of life scores were (85.6±5.4) and (72.1±6.8), the hospitalization time were (5.4±3.6) days and (7.6±4.6) days, respectively. The observation group was significantly better than the control group in above aspects, the differences between the two groups were statistically significant (P<0.05).
Conclusion Fast-track surgery has good effect in perioperative period of tension-free hernia repair, and it can improve the prognosis of patients and should be popularized in the clinic.
